EYEBROW EMBROIDERY! with Bellusdecharme [AD]

" whats the one thing you can get into shape without exercising? ... your eyebrows! "

Hey guys! Im back! This time with my eyebrow embroidery experience with bellusdecharme

Check out their insta!

We all know how important eyebrows are these days in the world of beauty!
When i was younger i never thought my eyebrows would be so important! and who'd have thought!
I can never leave the house without my eyebrows drawn!
Dont believe in the power of brows?
Here are some celebrities without eyebrows! Pictures were of course edited by their rightful owners!

and yes... eyebrows do make so much difference!
They shape our faces and are also a key to face recognition!
I used to draw my eyebrows thick and in dark brown! and many people have commented on them!
I feel that those thick brows finished my look and its an essential to my daily make up!
However drawing them everyday really got tedious and on bad
days... my brows would be uneven / out of shape or unpolished!
I would feel so unsettled the whole day...

Thankfully for bellusdecharme i managed to get my eyebrow embroidery done!
Saying good bye to everyday's challenge and buying brow pencils!!!

SO SO HAPPY!!

When i got to their place located at FAR EAST PLAZA, #04-105 I was greeted by their friendly staff and they all had damn nice brows wtf. D:

They began by removing my eye makeup and shaping my natural eyebrows!

Yes those are my natural brows haha. I like how they shaped it very professionally and made sure every STRAND was where it belonged! (sorry my lashes dropped lol)
On a side note i was always super scared to get my brows done CAUSE what if it fucks up right???
Putting all my trust in bellusdecharme!! And the more work they did the more i trusted them!
I was informed of every step they were going to take and they made sure my brows were done to my liking!

Next we moved on to getting the right shape!
The artist drew on the shape i desired and made sure that i liked it!
 Its now or never!
I like how even and precise they were drawn! So.. shape decided!
Getting on to the real deal now!

They dotted along the outlines of my brows as a guide when they begin the embroidery! and then moved on to numbing my brows!!! felt super weird and fuzzy!!

After which i was brought into a room where it was super comfy!!! The artist then began to do my brows! They were in light and dark brown pigments!
Here's a time lapse of how it went!

The process at the start felt like nothing literally because of the numbing cream!
I fell asleep too!! it was really comfortable!
After the numbing cream wore off it did feel a little fuzzy! Like abit of a bruising sensation!
But it was super bearable! bearable isn't even the word really

After that i was done!
Nice defined brows for good!!
No more trying to even them out while drawing them!
Some of their services include

AFTERCARE
Aftercare was really easy!I did everything as per normal! and just avoided direct contact with face wash! And applied a cream to them before i go to bed!
Today it is almost fully healed and the color has faded into a really nice brown!

Here is how it looks after!

1 day after!

Almost a week after!
Sorry fr the bad quality here!!

WHICH TEA? THAT TEA! [AD]

Hello guys!
I know I've been away for awhile.... but I'm back now!
Hope everyone has been doing fine! 2016 for me has been a pretty hectic year... but with this special something it gets me up and ready for the day!

Not long ago I started trying out this tea..which tea you may ask?
THAT TEA!

Ever wondered how all these teas work? And how they taste? Well I've been trying out other teas prior to this but they always leave a lingering aftertaste!! hate it so much!!
Until i found that tea!

WHY THAT TEA?
You may ask so here i am to tell you!

1. that tea has a nice sweet taste to it and it doesn't taste bad at all! I can have it at any time of the day!
2. Their skinny tea has became my teatox and i feel more energised and my body feels better!
3. I feel much healthier and better about myself too!

That Tea was also lovely enough to send me their MATCHA TEA!
I was never really a fan of matcha until i decided to give this a try!
And its benefits have taken me aback!
As quoted from their site... (www.thattea.com
Matcha has 137 times more antioxidants than regularly brewed green tea, it boosts your metabolism, it pacifies mind and body, and fills you with almost 10 times more nutrients than regular green tea."

The benefits of this tea makes me feel healthier and eat healthier too! I started avoiding junk food and what not ever since i started! I felt so much "cleaner" and healthier about my body!

People who drink Matcha for the fat burning qualities are right to do so, provided it is drunk at the right time. A study that featured in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that consuming green tea increased thermogenesis (the body's rate of burning calories) from 8-10% to 35-43%. This is in addition to another study that demonstrated that exercising immediately after drinking matcha green tea resulted in 25% more fat burning during exercise!!!

SO WHY NOT?
same exercise and workouts done and a boost in fat burn!
feel more alert and i can concentrate much better in day to day activities too!

Fell in love with their skinny tea and matcha tea in no time!
But how do i incorporate these teas in my daily life?

After waking up in the morning and brushing my teeth i make myself a cup of skinny tea to go with breakfast! My daily booster! Make it yours too!!

Somewhere in the middle of the day comes the matcha tea!!
Love how it smells and tastes and keeps me and my body on track too!

Honestly one of the best teas I've tried thus far!
So hurry up and purchase yours!
Feel better and love your body right!!!
Oh and i also didn't diet at all throughout this teatox!
Just eat healthier and all its benefits will be sure to surface!
Please dont ever diet guys!! Im never one to stand for dieting !!!
These teas make me feel and look better about myself and my body a healthy way and its easy to incorporate and consume!

Lushful lashes!

Hello!
Hows January so far for everyone!
I got my lashes done and i won't lie, i was afraid at first!
Cause I had a horrendous experience once!! Hated my lashed so much i pulled them out the day i got them :( until i found.. @LUSHLASHH!
Here;s my experience with them and a prep for whats in when you get yours done with lushlashh too!

Lush lash is less than a 5 minute walk away from raffles place mrt!
Really convenient so no worries at all!!
Location :
The Arcade, #03-12

Contact:
85685268 / 94773322

Upon entrance I was greeted with this really lovely and homely vibe!

They also have super cute and pretty posters up! Love the atmosphere so much there!

When i entered, I sat down and their staff explained to me the different kind of lashes they have!
J curl, B curl, C curl, D curl and the L curl!
I was going for a more natural look that day so i went for the B curl with 0.15 thickness!
All these different curls have different effects on your eyes after!
Surely you'd find something to suit you!

Next i walked into where the work happens!!
And yes.. it is as comfortable as it looks....

Firstly, my eyeliner was removed really gently and cleaned away!
Their staff is also very hygienic! So no worries!
They're gentle too!! Then one by one she stuck on my lashes for me and i fell asleep too..
the whole process really isn't painful at all and does hurt a bit!!
Before this i had stupid thoughts of going blind and shit... idk i tend to have stupid thoughts before i get smh done.. once thought i could have died or became stupid while getting my neck pierced.

But its all good guys!!
Just make sure not to open your eyes throughout the whole process! Have a nap like i did (heheh)
The lashes dont poke into my eyes or hinder my vision!
They're really soft and kinda have feathery ends

After about an hour I woke up to longer fuller and lush lashes!!
Just like the name suggests!
And this time i was happy!! Really satisfied with the results!

The lashes gave me the effect of eyeliner too! PLUS mascara..
SO no need for eye make up anymore!!
So convenient and easy! No more fuss with mascara being sticky!! and I dont have to wait for it to dry before blinking! Also no more need for cleaning off sticky and messy mascara!

Follow them on instagram now @lushlashh for updates on their services and get yours done soon!
Its never too late!! Why have short and thin lashes when you can get fuller longer and prettier lashes like i did!

lash with 2 'H'!! @lushlashh!!
and follow my insta for updates and daily looks with my new lashes @gnitil!

Lush Lashh is having a promotion for Korean Eyelash extensions at $90!

its been a great year

2015

i know I'm a little late.. but better late than never
Heres looking back on 2015.
I guess 2015 has been much of a roller coaster to me, although i have to admit, its been one of my greatest years so far.
In 2015, I found love, started my polytechnic education and met and lost many people at the same time.

2015 was no doubt full of closures and beginnings too.
Starting on a  new relationship definitely wasn't one of the easiest things for me , i hate new beginnings. Meeting someone new, starting all over, getting comfortable and opening yourself up to someone completely new...
Things i never liked doing, however I'm glad i did,
In 2015 I met luke, I'm sure most of you would already know, and no doubt he's not a regret.
Meeting him opened me up to many things, made me a happier and helped me lead a more constant life.
Although they said change is the only constant, both him and i are growing everyday, experiencing new encounters and embarking on new journeys.
Most of you would think of us as 'goals' and whatsoever but heres what i have to say
Yes I'm happy, we both are. And we hope you guys out there are too
Underneath photos and everything we are just like any of you, we have our fights and disagreements, and they're never the easiest things to deal with among all these hustle and bustle of life.
Whats important is that we learn to deal with problems and see things in a way of difference, not error.
No 2 people are the same, to move on in life together, we all have to learn to embrace difference and change.
Live and let live.

Opening myself up to new things this year of course also meant closing old chapters.
Leaving my secondary school and starting in a whole new environment.
Like i said, i hate new beginnings,
started poly this year with the mindset that its all going to suck.. SUCK BIG TIME
But in many ways i was wrong
I was posted to a course I never even knew about, forced to be in classes without my best buddies and having to adjust to change all over again.. fuck
But I made new friends, maybe some for life and learnt new things.
Figured my way around school and more or less adjusted well to a whole new beginning.
After all i seem to enjoy my course in school and I'm more of thankful than regretful that i am where i am now.The people in school keep me going and are the greatest reasons why school isn't so dreadful afterall. Thank you to my friends I've made in 2015. and to many years of friendship ahead. I guess its true everything happens for a reason..

As timely as it is, by the time some of you read this its Monday, 11th of Jan, where many of you get back your O level results, trust me, this time last year (2014)  i felt like complete crap.
We may or may not achieve our goals set for ourselves but whatever happens, nothing stops, everything goes on.
Whatever your results are, remember to embrace change, and be ready for a whole new ride.
You will never know where it takes you. Just like me.

2015 also opened me up to many new opportunities like new sponsorships, invitations to events and experiencing new things
I am thankful
For everything i have received from you guys and journeys that I've been through.
Thank you for the constant support and encouragement from my followers and everyone around me.

I dont exactly know how to put a whole year of emotions and happenings into words and I'm not too sure what 2016 has in store for me too, but to 2015, I'm thankful and to this new year ahead i am hopeful.
I wish you guys luck, love and happiness and remember that change is the only constant, work hard and heres to new beginnings.

an open post to someone i once knew.

so hows it like to lose yourself in the concept of "self-love"
whats it like to become the person you used to hate and look down upon?

you lost yourself and this is what you became.

you lose yourself in the tiniest fractions and meaningless doings
in the high and dry and gushes of adrenaline.

you put your key of your own happiness into any pocket, slit or comfort you could find
among bright lights and tequila shots

its funny how you lose yourself in a blink
but build yourself back up with a span of what seems like forever

do we only really get better?
youve became what others decide to let you be

we often try to find what we lose but never know when we lost them
bittersweet seperation
like all fire burns out, so did our hearts and the passion we possessed.
what ever happened to us

we were so broken it didn't matter what was ahead.
they will now always have a part of you
you will never ever have again.

although we might always lose once more
heres what we learn

we might spend weeks, months, years or a lifetime
trying to go back to pre damage.

recognise you're somewhere new now,
its a new you
new serenity

take yourself back and realise you fell
its time to stand back up
have a stand and find a purpose
i am no lesser than you
and you are not much more than me

tell your story and let it go

i guess you learn and accept your fall, your foolishness and your discontent, and we might always be filled with questions along the way "how did we get here"
i choose to believe to fall is to rise again and to rise is to fall harder,
to rise higher

there is no end to this pursuit /
vicious cycles they come and may never go

its what we choose to learn and what we choose to believe
how we stand up again and fall all over again
with each time stronger

look at how far you've come
forgive who guided you there
and forgive yourself

feed yourself with adventures.
know its okay to be weak
but take control,

hows it like to lose yourself in the concept of "self-love"

-

like all candles burn out
maybe we did too

like how everything runs out
maybe your patience did

should i be sorry what my past has done or should i embrace the person it made me.

its a fucking crappy day.

"It is hard to get over a cheater because when you leave the relationship, there are two people you must mourn. One is the asshole who cheated on you, in all their flawed, unfaithful glory. This is the person it is easy to get mad at, the person it is easy to cut off contact with, the person it is easy to talk shit about while you’re out for cocktails with your girlfriends at night. It’s the person you are glad to be leaving because you know that you don’t deserve their bullshit in your life.
The other person you must get over is the person you thought they were. The relationship

you thought you had. The trust you so carefully built, not knowing that the foundation was made up of quicksand. It’s not the cheater you are mourning at 4am when you come home from the bar alone and want to call them up to tell them they’re forgiven; it is their intangibly perfect alter-ego. The one you built a life with. The one you poured your trust into. The one you thought was always going to be there, until they weren’t. You hate the person they turned into, but love the person they were. Love the way things were. Love the memory of each blissfully ignorant day with them, so fiercely that it tears you to pieces.
It is hard to get over a cheater because you never get the closure you need. You cannot reason your way to the cause of the cheating — and I strongly encourage you not to try. The back of your mind will only make up reasons that scathe you: you weren’t funny enough or sexy enough or enticing enough. You didn’t pay enough attention. You didn’t make enough time. With every magazine title screaming “Ways to please your lover!” and “How to not scare the good ones away,” you begin to suspect that it was your fault they cheated, not theirs. You know logically this is not true, but it feelstrue. The harder you search for a reason, the more the truth evades you. A simple lapse in judgment doesn’t seem like an adequate explanation for the hell that you’ve been put through. So you search for a bigger, better reason that is not there.
It’s hard to get over a cheater because the only person you hate more than them is yourself. You hate yourself for falling for them. For investing in them. For turning a blind eye to every red flag that was a clue along the way. You scorn yourself for believing every lie they told, and letting it all come to fruition. You hate yourself for not putting together the puzzle pieces that you were never actually holding.
It is hard to get over a cheater because we are seldom given the chance to properly mourn them. We are encouraged to feel every scathing emotion we can muster toward our unfaithful lovers, but we’re told that we cannot still love them. Cannot miss them. Cannot mourn the loss of that love because we should be too angry to feel sadness. We are not given the chance to go through the regular process of grieving somebody who was once a major part of our lives. And because we try to deny ourselves this process, we exemplify the pain. We feel ashamed for still loving them. Ashamed for still needing to grieve. Ashamed of not being ready to start over right away, even though we know we deserve so much better. Ashamed because it must make us weak to feel anything other than hatred.
It is hard to get over a cheater because the real person we have to forgive at the end of the day is ourselves. We have to forgive ourselves for missing the signs that we couldn’t possibly have seen. For losing a game we never signed up to play. For having a perfectly natural connection with a person who turned out to not be who they said they were. We don’t want to accept that bad things can happen to us without precedence. That we can be fooled and treated unfairly and still end up the loser in the end. We want to believe in the eternal balance of the Universe, which suggests that when we are in pain we have done something wrong. It is hard to get over a cheater because it means accepting the bizarre notion that life can be unfair in the harshest sense of the word.
It is hard to get over a cheater because a betrayal of trust turns your world upside down. And the only way to flip it right-side up again is to give ourselves permission to work through it. To accept what happened. To mourn someone we hate. To grieve a relationship we walked away from. To work through every paradoxical situation we encounter, until we come through on the other side. The side with a clean slate. The side where we don’t just suspect that we deserve better — we know. And the side where we are proud of ourselves for never accepting any less. TC mark"
